The Grandfather Of Black Baseball (Henry "Pop" Lloyd)
$550.00

As part of my ongoing Negro League Collection, this piece serves as an homage to John Henry "Pops" Lloyd. He earned the nickname "The Grandfather of Black Baseball" due to his substantial impact on the game and his role as a mentor for many younger players in the Negro Leagues. This title reflects not only his longevity in the sport but also his nurturing presence and leadership both on and off the field. This artwork was created using graphite pencil on 18x24 Bristol paper.
